South African president Cyril Ramaphosa tests negative for coronavirus

South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has tested negative for coronavirus.

A statement released by the presidency says President Ramaphosa received his test results last night

“The president submitted for testing as a precautionary measure upon the advice of physicians on Tuesday 24th March 2020 and received his results last night,” the statement read

South Africa has 709 confirmed coronavirus cases, with no reported deaths.
